How is Share of AI Voice calculated?
Share of AI Voice is how often a brand is mentioned across the AI answers in its category, as a percentage of the answers analyzed for it. A higher score means the engines name that tool more often when developers ask.
What does the Citations column count?
Citations counts how often a brand's own domain is cited as a source in the AI answers, including its docs and other subdomains. It shows whose content the engines actually link to, not just who they name.
Which AI engines are tracked?
The scoreboard tracks seven engines: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode.
How often is the scoreboard updated?
Brands are scored over a rolling 30-day window, with standard engines run daily and premium models weekly. Every number reflects what the engines actually said on the day they were asked.
How are the brands chosen?
The panel is a fixed set of widely used developer tools spread across categories such as error tracking, authentication, hosting, databases, and observability. The set stays consistent over time so the ranking is comparable from week to week.
